This is a beautiful and unusual Bromeliad. The leaves resemble a snakeskin or zebra print. It's so unusual that it looks like it is painted on. This mini Bromeliad gets to an average size of about 6" - 8" in height. When mature, a 20" stalk comes out of the middle of the plant. Around the end of the stalk, lime green "baby bromeliads" develop with small little white flowers coming out of the sides. This bromeliad grows best in filtered light and likes to be dry before being watered again. It is best to avoid freezing temperatures.
